Abuja - President Goodluck Jonathan has appealed to aspirants of the
Peoples Democratic Party( PDP) who lost at the primaries not to leave
the party in the interest of democracy, reports Leadership.
Jonathan made the appeal while speaking at the PDP fund raising dinner held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He noted that the leadership of the party was working to resolve all outstanding issues in the congresses and primaries.

He stated that he was aware that other parties are wooing the aggrieved PDP aspirants to contest elections on their platforms.
He pleaded with the aspirants to be patient, noting that the best option for them is to stay in the party and resolve those issues.
