The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reported President Goodluck Jonathan and eight other persons to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague over an audio recording which allegedly features members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) plotting to rig the June 2014 elections in Ekiti.
The
recording was supposedly made by an army sergeant, who is currently on
the run, and allegedly featured the voices of Minister of State for
Foreign Affairs II, Musiliu Obanikoro; Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose and former governorship candidate of the PDP in Osun State, Iyiola Omisore.
Others named in the petition are Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh; Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Kenneth Minimah; the Commanding Officer of the Nigerian Army’s 32nd Artillery Brigade Commander, Akure, Ondo State, Brig. Gen. Aliyu Momoh; a member of the Federal House of Representatives, Abdulkareem; and the Minister of Police Affairs, Jelili Adesiyan.
