Nigeria’s number one goal keeper, Vincent Enyeama is
trendingon twitter, Wednesday, apparently due to his alleged refusal to play
the African Cup of Nations qualifier between Nigeria and Tanzania. The match is
scheduled to take place this Saturday.
According to news report, the 33-year-old Lille OSC
shot-stopper has asked to be excused from the trip to Dar es Salaam due to
personal issues bordering on his family.
Enyeama may be replaced with Wolverhampton Wanderers
goalkeeper Carl Ikeme, who has received his first call-up to Super Eagles.
